greatest hits

hi friends.  greatest hits is a day early this week because tomorrow morning i leave for the AUSTIN CITY LIMITS MUSIC FESTIVAL!!!  i am beyond excited.  so, let's get down to business, shall we?

1) this time of year in dallas means only one thing: the state fair of texas.  as promised i sampled the fried thanksgiving dinner and i give it my highest approval.  i have heard others state otherwise, but haters gonna hate.  how can fried thanksgiving dressing not be delicious?  that's what i'm saying.

 2) on saturday night, we celebrated the fifth anniversary of my friend emily's thirtieth birthday.  it was so much fun and our mid-thirty year old selves paid for it the next day.

3) on sunday we took our very pregnant friend kelly to do a few of her favorite things before number two arrives in a few weeks.  we got our toes done, we ate pizza, and shoved pie in our faces.  she was one happy pregnant lady.

4)  our neighborhood celebrated national night out up at ben's school.  the celebration was complete with air-brush face-painting, bouncehouses, a petting zoo, a dj and pony rides.  for free, mind you.

 5) my baby got a new hoodie.  it's so cute, it's worth noting.
