as much as i love new orleans, i have never had the desire to stand shoulder to shoulder with a miilion drunk people during mardi gras. however, i will use it as an excuse to listen to the rebirth brass band (listen to this), drink an abita strawberry, eat jambalaya, and wax poetic about my favorite city on the planet in the comfort of my own home.
man, i sure do know what it means to miss new orleans. i'm aching to go back!
